Nursery Inspections & Evaluations

  • Like all providers of pre-school care and development, Little Acorns is assessed by Ofsted and our local authorities on a regular basis.
  • As we also provide food and drink for our children, our food hygiene is also regularly assessed.
  • Pre-school providers also have to undertake and fully report on their own internal evaluations, called ‘SEFS’

  • The Food Standards Agency inspected us on the 26th September 2014 and again in March 2016 and graded us both times with a rating of 5 = VERY GOOD.
  • London Borough of Ealing is part of the Food Standards Agency’s National Food Hygiene Rating Scheme.
  • The food hygiene and safety procedures (including food handling practices and procedures, and temperature control) are rated on a scale from 0 to 5.
